
This is the recipe for one burrito. When I make them ahead and freeze them, I usually make about 8 or so, so but the joy of this recipe is that it is so adaptable. You can add anything you want and even make different ones to freeze at the same time by making some sausage, some bacon, and some vegetable.

Ingredients
- 1 tortilla
- 1 oz or 1 frozen patty of sausage, cooked and drained
- (pork sausage is high in unhealthy fat so substituting deer, buffalo, turkey or other lean meat sausage is healthier)
- Other options instead of sausage:
- bacon 1 slice
- vegetables such as tomatoes, spinach, onions, peppers (total about ½ cup)
- 1 egg, scrambled
- 1 Tablespoon cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook meat (and vegetables if desired), scramble egg.
- Add all to the tortilla, wrap into a burrito, and secure with a toothpick.
- If freezing, wrap in freezer or wax paper and all into a freezer ziplock bag.
- If frozen, microwave about 1 minute or until cooked through.
- Note: recipe makes one so feel free to double or triple recipe to store in freezer
