I love being in the kitchen but I have a big pet peeve when it comes to food waste. You know when a recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of tomato paste or Chipotle peppers or a pinch of fresh herbs? What do you do with the rest of it? While it’s possible to use up those ingredients in different recipes throughout the week I rarely manage it. Instead I’ve discovered some handy food hacks along the way and our intern, Kathleen Rovira, also came up with some great ideas. Check them out below!
