About Phara

I am a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with clinical experience in nutrition counseling in the areas of adult and childhood obesity, cardiovascular disease, sports nutrition, and women’s health. 

I am a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Massachusetts Dietetic Association.  I hold a Masters in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons College and a Certificate in Sports Nutrition.  My thesis on Trans Fat Knowledge was published in Topics in Clinical Nutrition.  I completed my didactic training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and currently work with a variety of clients in various settings.  I offer personal nutrition coaching at health clubs and spas, and see patients on a regular basis at Saints Medical Center. 

Specializing in weight management and therapeutic nutrition education, I offer a non-diet approach to help clients make lifestyle modifications to effect real positive and lasting change.  My belief is healthy eating does not have to be complicated.  With that, I hope to empower you to reach for lifelong energy, nutrition and health. 

Fun Facts About Me

• I have a wonderful baby boy who keeps my life filled with joy and amazement.

• My husband and I met in Paris for our first date.

• I live in New England – home of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and the Boston Celtics.

• I was inspired to pursue a career in nutrition from my travels in Europe.

• My favorite food is the avocado.
