About Kerry
I have been a dietitian for about 13 years. I have a master’s degree in nutrition and I am a certified diabetes educator. I also have a certificate of training in adult weight management from the American Dietetic Association.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and then completed a dietetic internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. I have worked as a clinical dietitian in hospitals, dialysis clinics, long term care facilities and for a home health agency. I specialize in counseling patients on weight management, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease and general wellness.
I enjoy teaching people how to eat healthy to manage their weight and health. I don’t like the word diet and I don’t believe in giving up your favorite foods. Moderation is the key. I think the Balance Program is a great place to learn to manage your weight.
Fun Facts About Me

- I like going for walks with my dog-she was rescued through D.A.R.E (Doberman Assistance, Rescue and Education).
